Queen Anne's Lace

The roadside hedgerows are very pretty with Cow Parsley or Queen Anne's Lace a very delicate flower, popular with flower arrangers. The plants have suffered with recent wind and rain but are very pretty even so.
We hadn't heard it called Queen Anne's Lace until Wednesday when we were out walking with our Rambler's group - they say you learn something new every day and it is a very pretty name don't you think?
