Limousin Bull

Whilst out walking near Painswick we came across this magnificent Limousin bull and his herd of ladies and offspring. At first we felt worried as he stood in the corner where we planned to walk but he gently moved out of our way.

Limousin cattle come originally from France large numbers being brought here in the 1960s as they calve easily and produce excellent beef for the table. 

The youngsters look pretty too!
